Florins are used as currency in the world of Ghost of a Tale. They are the official coinage of the five Rat provinces, minted in denominations of one, five, and ten from an alloy of silver, gold, and copper found only in the Sarastra Mountains.

The coins bear the emblem of the Red Paw on them, although some older florins feature a portrait of Rodrik, the last Rat King. They are known as "cowards", and are much rarer than regular florins.
